enjoy different activities and experiences. Camps are open to students 3.5

through Thursday each week.

Summer Science June 11-14
Children love to explore and ask questions. Our class is designed to
introduce children to the world of science through a variety of concepts
such as sound, air, water and simple chemical reactions. Each class will
have a daily experiment that explores these concepts and the week will
conclude with one large experiment – a volcano or rocket perhaps? The goal
of the class is to make science fun while encouraging children to make
predictions and to suggest explanations for what they observe. 4 to 5
years. Mature 3.5 year olds with previous drop-off experience will also be
considered.
Magnificent Math June 25-28
Math is everywhere in our lives! The goal of our class is to introduce the
world of math to preschoolers. We will introduce a new concept each day of
class. Centers will be geared to help students explore the concept of the
day. We will also have a story time, group activity, snack and outdoor play
activity to support the concept. Students will create a math bag to take
home, which will include fun family activities for the whole family to
enjoy. 3.5 to 5 years
Summer Sign Language July 9-12
Every parent knows that young children love movement and actions. Our class
will focus on American Sign Language in combination with spoken language to
reinforce educational concepts such as ABC’s, animals, and other themes.
Daily activities will include story time, a group activity, snack, and
outdoor play. 3.5 to 5 years
Reading Rocks July 23-26
Reading is such a crucial part of your child’s education. It’s important
that your preschooler gets the early literacy skills they need to become
successful readers. Our class is designed to help develop those literacy
skills and also develop a love for books and reading. The theme for our
class will be Leo Lionni. We will focus on one of his books each day of
class. The class will include a daily read aloud (book of the day), art
project (based on book), literacy centers and snack. We will also travel to
the nursing home down the street for reading buddies and travel to the local
park for a "Read In The Park" day. 3.5 to 5 years
